'A great place to bring our family together the 4th year in a row! This house has the perfect set up for our large family. We love that the kitchen has all you need to cook for large groups. We are a family of foodies so whether it is grilling, a Mexican fiesta night, or lobster night, we go big. There is space for everyone inside but we tend to spend all our time on the deck and next to the pool. The furnishings are clean and comfortable and there was even a fresh paint job welcoming us this year. We spent even more time at the house due to the pandemic but with the beach down the street and a pool in the yard we barely noticed any restrictions. Chatham Vacation Rentals as always was a breeze to work with. They kept us informed during the spring as we all dealt with the uncertainty of Covid-19. We didn’t have any difficulties with the house but it is good to know that they are there if we did. '

'This is a great property. The pool is beautiful and well-used during the pandemic, even though the beautiful nearby beaches were socially distanced. The house is nicely furnished and spotless. The backyard area was terrific with both gas and charcoal grills. We had dinner outside every night and it was so very pleasant.. It's very secluded (we passed it twice without seeing it when we first checked in ! ) with foliage all around. We stayed for two weeks and should have booked for more..'

'The pool and outside area are beautiful and we all enjoyed our time. Very nice location and easy to get to lots of beaches and activities. Looking to go back again in the future!'

'We stayed during a stretch of bad weather, which made the home’s wear and tear more noticeable. The house felt heavily used—sort of clean, but tired. The kitchen and entertaining area layouts were awkward for six people, especially in the tight kitchen and limited indoor dining area. The kitchen was well stocked, though. The outdoor areas (deck, pool, outdoor shower) felt neglected and would benefit from a deep clean and a powerwash. The small playground was broken and unusable. There’s construction next to the pool, so privacy is limited right now. The pool was unheated (just mentioning in case you come in the slight off-season like we did in mid-June) and unusable for most of our stay. On the warmest day, the pump failed, causing an algae bloom. We were told it was safe to swim, but the water turned green and uninviting. Maintenance wasn’t able to fix it before we left. Basement game tables were broken or missing parts, so not usable. Some beds were comfortable, others not. AC worked well overall—using a window fan on the upstairs vents helped circulation. Pros: The house has plenty of beds for groups and is in a decent location. Pleasant Beach (just 0.3 miles away) was beautiful—lots of shells, space to walk, and crabs to catch. It’s also walking distance to a few good local restaurants - Pisces, Drifters. Overall, the house could work for a group during a sunny week, but for us, the poor weather, unusable pool, and overall wear and tear made it a tough stay.'
