'Everything we needed, great location!
We are a family of four, and this house had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. The kids loved the bunk beds, there was a first-floor bed for grandparents or guests to stay in. There are multiple outdoor lounding/dining spaces. We found the open layout to be very convenient for hanging out together while one person was prepping meals. The outdoor shower and foot wash is great for cleaning up after a trip to the beach. They recently improved the foot path in the back of the house, so the kids would walk straight from the foot wash to back patio for dinner.
The beach is a short walk away, which meant that we didn't have to "schedule" a trip to the beach. There are only a few houses that are closer to the beach than this. We could just go to the beach whenever we felt like it, even if it was just to take a stroll to see the tides change or look at th estar. Riverdale beach itself is wonderful for small kids at low tide--with plenty of tide-pooling and shallow areas for exploration.
We've stayed here multiple times, and we always think to ourselves, "This house has every ingredient we need in a great location." What more do you need?
